An achievement of good Al and its alloys characteristics assumed a choice of proper technological procedures during its melting and further treatment. It is well known chemical affinity of aluminum to oxygen causing occurring of oxide inclusions, which together with the hydrogen solubility significantly brought scrap and losses in production.

Melting process and melt treatment might significantly reduce casting defects as porosity, cavities, oxide inclusions etc.
